Career Talks
What career opportunities do I have after the PhD?
How can I best prepare for the start of my career?
Many doctoral candidates face the same questions during and at the end of their PhD. In order to provide you with the best possible support as a doctoral candidate at the GFA, we organise English-language career talks in cooperation with the Alumni Chapter of the Faculty of Forest Sciences and Forest Ecology of the University's Alumni Association. This event format gives you the opportunity to gain valuable first-hand insights and experiences from our alumni.
During the one-hour (online) events, the speakers talk about their diverse career paths and their personal experiences during their doctorate. After their presentation they are available to answer questions. You will have the opportunity to learn more about the job profile, find out which qualifications and references you should bring with you and how you can develop your career.
The following alumni will be happy to answer your questions (from 15:00 to 16:00):

Spontaneous participation is theoretically possible, but the timely provision of the link can then no longer be guaranteed. Individual events will also take place in person. In this case, you will find the room details over the respective date. Hybrid participation is possible.
