Symposium “Intensive-Palliative”

On Saturday, November 23rd, the first “Intensive-Palliative” symposium will take place at the Charité in Berlin.

The employees of all intensive care units are offered the opportunity to hear insightful lectures on general palliative care in the intensive care unit and specifically on the intensive care unit at the Charité. In addition, some of the outstanding speakers of the symposium will speak at the end about palliative structures outside of intensive care units.

The managing director of the Center for Medical Law, Prof. Dr. Gunnar Duttge is one of the speakers and enriches the event with a contribution on the exciting topic of the legal basis of changes in therapy goals.

The symposium offers employees the opportunity to obtain information and to more easily integrate palliative medicine aspects into their everyday lives. They are also offered the opportunity to build networks – even outside of the intensive care unit.
