Hanna Kotro
Hanna Kotro has been a research assistant at the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development at the University of Göttingen since May 2025, where she is responsible for science communication and public relations. In this position, she oversees and coordinates all of the faculty's communication channels.
She studied Business Psychology at the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences and subsequently completed a Master's degree in Marketing and E-Business at the Georg-August University of Göttingen. During her studies and beyond, she gained practical experience in marketing in various positions. In the process, she built up in-depth knowledge of strategic and digital marketing.
She developed a special interest in consumer psychology and behaviour at an early stage. The nutrition and health context also plays a central role for her - especially in connection with questions about consumer decisions and communication effects. She is now investigating both topics in depth as part of her doctorate.
