Santander Sorgenfrei Campus Scholarship 2026
The Sorgenfrei Campus Scholarship 2026 offers students at the University of Göttingen financial support in the amount of €1,000.
A total of 10 scholarships will be awarded.
Who is it aimed at?
All regular students of the University of Göttingen in the summer semester 2026 are eligible to apply. Exchange students are not eligible for funding as they are only temporarily enrolled at the University of Göttingen and do not graduate from the University of Göttingen.
How to apply?
The application is made via the Santander Open Academy*. You can access the application portal here. The application deadline is 7 June 2026. In order to ensure equal opportunities, selection is random.
What is the scholarship awarded for?
The selected students undertake to use the amount of €1,000 each over the following two years for expenses such as semester tickets, learning materials, equipment for their studies, housing costs plus ancillary costs and expenses for personal or professional development.
The scholarships are offered by Santander Consumer Bank AG. The University of Göttingen is responsible for determining the selection criteria and deciding on the award.

Santander Incoming Scholarship Summer 2026
The Santander-Incoming-Scholarship Summer 2026 is open to exchange students at the University of Göttingen, nominated by a partner university as part of the Global Exchange Programme.
The scholarship supports accommodation and study-related costs for exchange students in Göttingen.
The scholarship consists of a one-time flat-rate payment of 1,000 Euro.
There are a total of five scholarships.
Selection is based on the exchange balance of the University of Göttingen with the applicant's home university.
If the exchange balance is balanced, academic performance is used as the secondary selection criterion.
A bank account with an IBAN is required for the scholarship to be paid out.

Re Art. 14 para. 2 c) and d):
You have a right of access to the personal data concerning you vis-à-vis Universia Holding / Santander open Academy and the University of Göttingen and, if applicable, a right to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing of this data and a right to object to processing, as well as a right to data portability.
If the data processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The data processing carried out up to that point remains lawful; the revocation only applies to the future. In this case, your data will be deleted immediately.
