Application for the Erasmus+ - Programme at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences


Applications for Erasmus+ for the 2027–28 academic year will open again in December 2026.

The new calls for applications for exchange opportunities in Europe within the framework of “Erasmus+ KA 131” and the “Swiss European Mobility Programme” are now online on the website of Göttingen International.

The application procedure for exchange opportunities applies exclusively to the academic year 2026/27 at the respective partner universities.

The application portal MoveOn closes on 31 January 2026.

1. Internal application procedure


To apply, please register in the MoveOn portal using your student email address and upload your documents. The application must be received by 31 January 2026. It does not matter when your application arrives within the application period.


In the selection process, we will try to take your first choice into account.


Selection criteria are:

  • Completion of the 3rd semester in the bachelor’s programme at the time of the semester abroad

  • Compliance with the specified internal application deadline of 31 January 2026 (for stays in winter semester 2026/27 and/or summer semester 2026)

  • Academic performance

  • Language skills (also with regard to the courses to be taken at your host university)

  • Motivation letter

If your first choice cannot be fulfilled, we will try to take your second choice into account.

Acceptances and rejections from the internal application procedure will be sent via the MoveOn portal by around 19 February 2026.




2. Online nomination after accepting the placement


You must accept or decline the placement we offer in the MoveOn portal by 09 March 2026 at the latest. Applications to the partner university are submitted only after the internal application phase has been completed.




3. Further procedure after internal acceptance


  • Nomination at the host institution by the programme coordinator

  • Application to the host institution – Please note the deadlines of the respective host universities!

  • Coordination of course selection and credit recognition options with the Erasmus Agriculture team

  • Online Learning Agreement (OLA) to be completed

  • If necessary, application for a leave of absence

  • If necessary, revision of the OLA

  • Under “Documents for programme implementation” you will find information and templates for follow-up after the stay abroad (Certificate of Attendance, final report (form and free text) and Transcript of Records)

  • Application for recognition of the examination results obtained
