The compact online format Knowledge Nugget offers practical insights into digital teaching and learning tools as well as innovative concepts for higher education teaching—all in just 45 minutes.
The next Knowledge Nugget will take place on Thursday, 27 August 2026, 2:30–3:15 p.m.. The topic is "Virtual Campus: Spatial Digital Learning Environments as an Alternative to Video Conferencing". The session will be presented by Dr. Stefan Böhme (TU Braunschweig).

New training opportunities
In August, several exciting events on digital teaching, AI, and innovative teaching formats will take place once again.
The series begins on 12.08.2026 with the Twillo workshop “Subtitles, Translation, Voiceover & More – Enhancing Videos with AI.” During this one-hour session, participants will learn how AI tools can be used to enrich educational videos with features such as automatic subtitles, translations, and voiceovers.
On 19.08.2026, the Twillo workshop “AI for Educational Image Generation” will follow. The workshop introduces various AI tools for creating images and visualizations for teaching. Further information is available here.
On 27.08.2026, the next Knowledge Nugget will also take place. The topic of this 45-minute online session is “Virtual Campus – Spatial Digital Learning Environments as an Alternative to Video Conferencing.” Using the example of a virtual CyberFestival, participants will see how students can navigate digital learning environments as avatars, interact with one another, and present their own contributions.
