Early Studies
Highly motivated school students can attend selected introductory lectures before finishing school and gain their first university study experience.
About Early Studies
The Early Studies programme gives highly motivated school students the opportunity to attend selected introductory lectures in computer science and applied data science before they take their final school-leaving examinations. These subjects are especially well suited because the introductory lectures generally require only limited prior knowledge.
Courses
The following courses can be attended as part of the Early Studies programme:
- Foundations of Computer Science and Programming (10 ECTS, every winter semester)
- Foundations of Practical Computer Science (10 ECTS; every summer semester)
- Data Science: Foundations (6 ECTS; every summer semester)
- Foundations of C Programming (5 ECTS; every winter semester)
Recognition and Further Info
The credits you earn can be recognised in a later degree programme. The following pages provide additional orientation and options for a personal consultation:
