Keynote Niharika Banerjea
Niharika Banerjea teaches and researches at the Institute for Free Studies of Ambedkar University in Delhi. Her interests and aspirations in research and teaching revolve around transnational feminisms, queer lives and activisms, social theory and collaborative ethnographies.Her keynote dealt with the question of viability as a decolonial option. She focused her attention on queer and queer feminist colonial subjects who have to shape their lives with and through dichotomies such as modern / traditional, civilized / uncivilized or forward / backward.
