Call for Abstracts for Expert Consultations
As part of our workshop program, we offer individual expert consultations for members of the GGG as well as MA-Students in the social sciences at Göttingen University. Consultations will take place on May 23, 2019, 4:15-6:15 pm.
The consultations provide students with the opportunity to discuss current or planned research involving mixed methods or multimethod designs with one of the following experts from the field of method integration in a 30 minute one-to-one format:
- Prof. Dr. Nina Baur (TU Berlin)
- Prof. Dr. Michaela Gläser-Zikuda (FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg)
- Dr. Andrea Hense (SOFI Göttingen)
- Dr. Felix Knappertsbusch (HSU Hamburg)
- Prof. Dr. Maria Pohn-Lauggas (MZS Göttingen)
- Dr. Susanne Vogl (University of Vienna)
Applicants are required to hand in an abstract of their research project (max. 2 pages) describing
- (1) the research question and theoretical framework
- (2) the research design, data, and methods
- (3) the current state of the project
- (4) the main questions to be discussed
Applicants may express preferences regarding the consulting expert. However, due to organizational reasons, we cannot guarantee that requests will be granted.
