Goal 11 – Sustainable cities and communities
Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable
Adequate, safe and affordable housing and basic services must be ensured. The same applies for transport systems with the goal to increase safety. Goal 11 aims for inclusive and sustainable urbanisation as well as protection of the world’s cultural and natural heritage. Catastrophes and environmental pollution must be reduced. Apart from that, universal access to green and public spaces should be promoted.To achieve these goals, it is important to strengthen national and regional development planning in order to support positive economic, social and ecological links between urban, peri-urban and rural areas. The least developed countries should be supported. *

Der demographische Wandel verändert die Struktur der Dörfer in Deutschland. Was macht ein Dorf heute noch aus? Was unterscheidet Stadt und Land? Ich habe eine Analyse des Dorfwettbewerbs „Unser Dorf hat Zukunft“ gemacht und mir die unterschiedliche Dorftypen und das Dorf im Wandel der Zeit angesehen.
