The course on the introduction to scientific work is a good prerequisite for your final thesis. You can register for this in StudIP and work through the material independently.




Please note that an application does not entitle you to the supervision of a thesis in Business Education. Please also consider the offers of other professorships at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics. An abstract (max. 2,500 characters incl. spaces) on the desired subject area must be submitted with your application.
Deviations from these requirements will result in the rejection of the application for a supervision place! After the confirmation of supervision and before the final registration of the thesis at the examination office, a so-called exposé must be written. Please refer to the guidelines for writing a synopsis, which can be downloaded from the homepages of both professorships.
When writing a thesis, the guidelines for the preparation of seminar papers, term papers or project work as well as Bachelor's and Master's theses, which can be downloaded from the homepages of the two chairs of Business Education, must be observed.





E.g. application for the Bachelor's degree programme: 01.04.-15.05. and 01.10.-15.11. of each year. As part of these applications, proof of grades must be submitted to the selection committee by 15 May and 15 November respectively. Note: The processing time for the Bachelor's thesis is 12 weeks, and the correction time is 8 weeks.
