12.05: Our last Pre-Symposium talk from Ulrike Harjes featured her career path to scientific publishing. Not only did she talk about her story - but she also talked about transferable skills from laboratory work to editorial and gave some tips on how to 'start over' in a new country.
09:05: We had a Pre-Symposium Talk from Emma Robinson today, where she talked about her struggles and bright points during her journey in academia, about how staying true to what she believes in gave her an edge in her career, and touched upon the importance of branding in a scientific field.

28.04: Our Pre-Symposium Online Talks started with an inspirational talk from Maria Klawe today! She talked about her non-linear career journey, her ups and downs in life - and at the end, she gave some life advice on how to change the world - starting from us.
