The Digital Learning and Teaching Team offers trainings & events (online and in person), partly in close cooperation with Higher Education Didactics.

The AI Teaching Workshop offers you, after a short introduction to AI, the opportunity to actively try out various tools with different tasks, and then discuss their possible use in your teaching with other lecturers. Please register using the form below.

SAVE the DATE: With mini-workshops & good-practice presentations on digital and analog teaching, you can gain new ideas for your teaching practice and exchange with other lecturers over coffee and/or soup.
Various AI-related sessions will be offered. Learn how to use AI for lesson preparation, get to know the university’s AI tools, or find out about AI-sensitive exam formats. There will also be exchange and discussion formats on the topic: GAIA - AI Tutor for the university and the current status of the AI Taskforce.

The Online Teaching Dialogue (OLD) is a regular event series that addresses current topics around teaching and learning (in online settings). Here, practical tips and tricks for teaching are discussed and an exchange of experiences among participants is enabled. Further information on the event and registration can be found here.

Location: Online
In this workshop we provide an overview and introduce you to useful AI tools that can relieve your everyday teaching workload. Learn how to use AI tools to quickly create presentations, teaching materials, discussion prompts, quizzes, and handouts in various formats. Use Chat AI (Leuphana’s chatbot) to collect ideas for learning objectives and design synchronous learning phases. Note: A further part of the workshop is specifically aimed at Leuphana members. It focuses on integrating the created materials into Moodle and other Leuphana digital tools.

In this workshop you will get to know hands-on AI tools that let you, for example, control chatbots via speech input, add voiceovers to your own videos, or produce your own music. You will try them out and discuss how they can be integrated into teaching and learning.
