Our work focuses on the question of how companies can strategically and continuously develop their business models, organizational structures, and processes in order to respond to changes in the economy, society, and technology and shape sustainable future viability. Cooperation, networking, and interdisciplinary collaboration play a central role in this.


Through our teaching, we empower students to actively and responsibly help shape these tasks in companies. Through our research, we make well-founded contributions to scientific discussion and at the same time provide impetus for entrepreneurial practice

Successful Completion of the Practical Project with Mercuri Urval


On July 15, 2026, the joint practical project between our department and the international executive search and leadership advisory firm concluded with a closing event at Mercuri Urval’s (MU) Hamburg office.

Interdisciplinary research team publishes study in Social Science & Medicine (VHB Rating: A)


The comparative case study shows management approaches that people in need of care use to coordinate their care network and provides ideas for cooperation.
