Göttingen Workshop on Ibero-American Development

The Ibero-America Institute for Economic Research at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen looks forward to having you as a guest in our 2025 Workshop. You are invited to join an enriching academic discussion on Latin America and enhance your network with researchers from all over the world.
The Workshop will focus on issues related to development with a focus on Latin America, including macro and microeconomic perspectives. Noteworthy, we are pleased to welcome as Keynote speaker Prof. Dr. Ana María Ibáñez Londoño, Vice President of the Inter-American Development Bank.

Past Events
Sur DialoguesMotivated by students’ demands for different perspectives during their studies, we offered a new seminar series, the Sur Dialogues, in October and November 2022. The seminar series gave voice to social scientists from the Global South, particularly from Latin America, to discuss contemporary issues of economic development.
