Master's thesis topics

The following list is a suggestion of topics for master theses. A focus within individual topics will be set in the first phase of the supervision process and should be substantially shaped by the author of the thesis.

We explicitly welcome your own topic proposals. For orientation, please refer to the respective areas of expertise of our staff. You are also welcome to approach us personally. A detailed description of the proposed topics, along with a selection of introductory literature, can be found in the following download.


The following topic proposals are available for selection until the deadline on October 15, 2025:

1. Now, later, or back then: The use of time in communication (master's thesis)
